I am confused about choosing the residency in Egypt , next September... *** University I passed Step 1 this week الحمدلله , I went to USA last year in a scholarship ,seen the difference, and I want to pursue my medical career there but for the Egyptian residency choice I am afraid to make a bad decision .I am ranking in the 100-200.. should I take academic position to have plenty of time till next April for Step 2 , or take "waiting" to then choose a clinical residency and also have that plenty of time ... but then choices will be limited and with no post position in University .... or should I take a residency and postpone Step 2 ..... take a residency as Anaesthesia /Emergency with post position which I am not super fan off ,,,or other residency without post Another Question , I am not able to choose a specialty, I see most of them not well in Egypt and doesn't deserve my effort and energy and even in America there is no specialty I am keen on ..may be ObGyn I was in love many years but now I feel it the same as others ... how to make up both decisions ....I am really overthinking these questions .... Please don't mention any identifying data ... thank you for your time

بس انا قلقان من نقطة اني ممكن ملاقيش بوزيشن بيد فهل ممكن اشتغل حاجه جنب الريسرش بحيث اجيب حتي فلوس المعيشة واي ممكن متاح اشتغله في الوقت ده حتي لو اي حاجه
